Delicious Ramen Noodles
Ingredients
- 200 g Ramen noodles
- 1 Ltr Litre chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Miso paste
- 2 Cloves garlic
- 1 Inch piece of ginger, gated
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 150 g Cooked chicken or tofu, sliced
- 100 g Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Spring onions, chopped
- 2 Soft-boiled eggs
- 100 G Pak choi
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nori sheets or sesame seeds or chilli flakes (optional toppings)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
- Pour in the chicken or vegetable stock, bringing it to a gentle boil. Stir in the soy sauce and miso paste until fully dissolved
- Add the ramen noodles to the pot and cook according to the package instructions ,usually around 3-4 minutes
- Introduce the cooked chicken or tofu, mushrooms, and spinach or pak choi to the pot. Allow them to heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Taste the broth and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Divide the noodles and broth between two bowls. Top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg, halved. Garnish with spring onions and any additional toppings you prefer such as nori sheets, sesame seeds, or chilli flakes.
